Your Love Story told by the SWFL Storybook Photographer

Who We Are

#1 question we get asked, "Why did you name your company something so unique?" 


I love this question, there are a 1000 reasons.  The simple answer, I LOVE wearing PINK!!!!  Half my wardrobe is pink... the other half.... is.... whimsical medieval faire attire.  Sooo while trying out different business names I decided to look up the definition of "Lady" and found:

.....  naturally, the only name that fit me... was ...."Lady" in Pink Photography.   Everyone who knew me agreed that was it, that was the perfect name.  My photography style is creative, whimsical, emotional, colorful, vibrant, artistic, different, unique, and experimental.  Our brand is not for everyone.  We get it. 


~Fun fact, for a few years we had a local photography studio set up at the Fort Myers Kiwanis Medieval Faire and I've been itching to get  back into the Medieval Faire world again.



A little more about Lady in Pink Photography: Our team offers professional luxury photographic destination wedding/event services.  Suzie started documenting weddings in 2003 after graduating high school and hasn't stopped since.  With an Associates Degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Suzie, is classically trained in the proper techniques of high end weddings and events.  Suzie is currently the membership chair for the Fort Myers Chapter of the National Association of Wedding Professionals.


Owner and founder, Suzie Thompson, is the proud mother of three children.  Her youngest son was born with a rare condition called, Pierre-Robin Sequence which caused a cleft palate to form before birth.  His entry into our little family shook and changed our world!  Suzie spends her free time Roller Blading or enjoying the evening on the beaches of SWFL; building sand castles, looking for shells, or just soaking in that glorious Florida Sunset. 


Charlotte is our 2nd photographer for weddings.  She is the go to girl for candids and details shots.  If you can't find Charlotte at your wedding... then she is exactly where she needs to be.  Charlotte has a natural eye for photographing the emotional moments of the day without anyone noticing. 


Natasha is our newest team member.  Natasha officially joined out team in 2025.  She assists on photosessions and weddings. Natasha is just learning the ins and outs of using a professional camera.  When she does have camera in hand, her images capture the raw moments happening around her.

The Lady In Pink Photography team has a passion for events!  We love photographing every moment telling your LOVE STORY!  Our team custom designs your wedding album - taking the post wedding stress away.   LIPP offers professional grade unique albums that have earned us the title, "Storybook Photographers"

Lady in Pink Photography has been published in an average of 6 magazines per year, but we don’t let that go to our heads. We dedicate ourselves to every photo session.
